RTOS firmware for querying sensors and driving actuators
A vending machine has a set of electromechanical actuators that need to be supported by the system to fulfil the product's logic.
Typically, the end customer will bring their RTOS implementation and discard any proof of concept provided in OpenHarmony. This is because most of the time, the vendors have their firmware support for the domain. The business logic can include metrics acquisition for predictive maintenance. These metrics can be uploaded to the cloud, where algorithms would interpret if various hardware needs servicing or maintenance. This requires Linux to RTOS communication abilities. Devices/platform support will be chosen based on a reference hardware support selection.
